This time we find Heidi sitting on a swing hanging from the rafters of a traditional Emmental-style chalet. Barry, the Saint Bernard dog, and a snuggly little puppy stand guard in front of the chalet. Off to the right of scene is a wooden flagpole bearing the Swiss national flag. The flowers and boulders sprinkled throughout the scene are gathered and crafted from sand found from the banks of Lake Brienz.

The chalet and figurines, hand-carved from locally sourced wood, are made with the same loving care and devotion to detail as our mechanical clocks. There are only two diffferences between the quartz and mechanical clocks. With the quartz there is no need for winding, and secondly, the quartz clock’s cuckoo sound is a high-quality recording. The weights are for aesthetic purposes and are made of solid iron. 

Figurines and ornaments : Dog figurines and the flag are hand-carved and hand-painted, which makes them original and unique.

Night feature : A manual switch that allows you to turn off the cuckoo sounds without interrupting the clock movement.
