This chalet cuckoo clock is a Loetscher classic design. Off to the right of scene, leaning up against the house, are hay poles. The golden haystacks that are admired so often in the paintings of Monet and Van Gogh’s were made by poles such as these before the advent of modern farm machinery. Off to the right of the scene is a fountain well carved from twigs. Alpine flowers crafted from locally sourced Lake Brienz stones are all round the well. A large pine tree, hand-crafted from linden wood.
